This flavorful Salmon Dip is an elegant appetizer, a delightful spread and a great addition to any party platter. It is perfect for spreading on crusty bread or crackers or served with vegetable sticks.

  • Flake the baked salmon into small pieces, making sure to remove any bones and skin.
  • Transfer the flaked salmon to a medium bowl.

  • Add the cream cheese, chopped onion, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  • Taste it and season with more salt and pepper as needed.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, garnish with fresh dill if desired. Serve the salmon dip with crackers, vegetable sticks or toasted bread.

How to prepare the baguette toasts

  • Preheat your oven to 400F (200C).
  • Cut the baguette into slices. Brush olive oil onto the top of each slice and place onto a large baking sheet. Sprinkle each slice with some sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Place into the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until they are light golden brown. Remove and let cool.
