I’m going to try your recipe !! for sure !!! In France, we cook Brussels sprouts with smoked bacon. First, we boil some potatoes, then we brown a yellow onion in a pot, we add thick slices of smoked bacon. We brown the boiled potatoes in the bacon fat and add the already pre-cooked (just boiled) Brussels sprouts. And it’s ready ! Recipe from Marseille. If anyone is interested !
